Brian Keyes, Esq.

Brian R. Keyes was born in Doylestown, Pennsylvania, in 1951, and grew up in Bucks and Hunterdon counties. He attended Solebury Private School and New Hope-Solebury High School. In 1975, he graduated magna cum laude from Temple University with a B.A., earning numerous honors including Phi Beta Kappa, President’s Scholar, and Phi Alpha Theta. During his time at Temple, he was elected by his peers to serve as a Director of the Honors Program. He then earned his JD from Temple Law School in 1978, graduating in the top 10% of his class.

Following his graduation, Mr. Keyes joined the Doylestown firm of Eastburn and Gray, before establishing his own practice in 1985. Since then, he has maintained offices in New Hope, Pennsylvania, and Lambertville, New Jersey. He is admitted to practice in Pennsylvania and New Jersey, as well as the Federal District Courts of New Jersey and the Eastern District of Pennsylvania, and the U.S. Supreme Court.

Mr. Keyes has served on the Board of Directors for various organizations, including the Bucks County Bar Association, the Community School of New Hope-Solebury, the Riverside Symphonia (where he was Chairman of the Board and now serves on the Advisory Board), the Concordia Chamber Players, and The Aquetong Watershed Association (where he was a founding director and has served as President). Additionally, he has chaired the Real Estate and Orphans’ Court Sections of the Bucks County Bar Association twice. He has also taught courses on real estate law and estate planning and administration.

In 1988, Mr. Keyes received an award for pioneering online access to the Bucks County Courthouse databases. He is an active volunteer in the Wills for Heroes program, providing free basic estate planning documents to police, fire, and emergency medical personnel.

Brian Keyes has two grown sons, John and Ross Keyes, and two grandchildren. He lives with his wife, artist Lisa Gladden Keyes, in Solebury Township. Lisa maintains a studio for creating and restoring fine art. Both Brian and Lisa are active members of the Solebury Township Historical Society, the New Hope Historical Society, the Michener Art Museum, the Phillips Mill Community Association, and the Bucks County Audubon Society.
